Here are some pics our photographer, Melissa Smith (http://www.picturesmithgallery.com), took of Emerson. I still can't get over how quickly our little man is growing (he starts preschool next month). We are truly trying to treasure each precious moment with him.

OBX 2011

We had a fabulous time at the beach this year! Some of Emerson's favorite things were the aquarium, the pirate ship playground, the pool, Jennette's Pier, the kayaks and pinwheels at Kitty Hawk kites, digging for sharks' teeth, searching for seashells, and getting up before 6 am each morning. Thanks Nonni and Granddad for an awesome vacation!!

Busy Boy!!

On Tuesday, I found Emerson busy talking on the telephone and typing on the computer. When I asked what he was doing, Emerson replied very matter of factly, "I'm calling and emailing daddy."
