Getting ready for the holidays with help from Shutterfly!!

I'm so excited that the holidays are approaching; this is definitely my favorite time of year!! And, unlike normal, I'm trying to get a jump start on things since we'll be moving from Chicago to Winston-Salem in less than a week.

First things first: CHRISTMAS CARDS.

The Amrich family Christmas card is a very, VERY big deal...especially for Brian...and especially now that we have a child and dog!!

This year, we'll be ordering our cards from Shutterfly.

Shutterfly has produced several fantastic products for us in the past (i.e. photo books and calendars), and they've got so many amazing choices for Christmas and holiday cards this year.

The Great Pumpkin

We carved Emerson's 2010 pumpkin at Gigi and Poppy's house this past weekend. He wasn't too interested in getting his hands dirty, but liked the finished product!

On the farm...

We took Emerson to the J. Razz & Tazz Farm in Gibsonville, North Carolina, for an afternoon of hayrides, pumpkins, and play! We had a blast!!

TRACTORS!!!

Emerson fell in love with tractors this week while we were in North Carolina!! Perhaps he'll have an easier time than we thought adjusting to life outside the big city...

The good ole' Dixie Classic Fair

Emerson rode two real deal rides at the fair this year, but his favorite part was the petting zoo! He loves animals!!

We had a great time at Emerson's birthday party in North Carolina!!

ONE YEAR!!!!!!

Emerson turned one on October 6!!

What a big year we've had!! I can't believe how much he has grown and changed in 365 days. We are having such a blast with our little man!!

Right now, Emerson's favorite things are exploring the world on foot and learning how to say new words!! Ball, tractor, bus, flower, bike, car, and poot (yes, poot) are some of his favorites!!
